Our day starts with a long but scenic drive out of Pokhara, crossing rivers, terraced fields, hillside and riverside villages. It’s a great way to experience the rural Nepal before the trekking adventure begins.
Highlight: Watching the landscape shift from city to remote countryside.
Today is your first proper trekking day. We follow the Budhi Gandaki River, crossing suspension bridges and walking through lush forests and small villages.
Highlight: River-side walking, waterfalls, and that first “I’m really trekking in Nepal” feeling.
The trail starts to feel more dramatic—narrow paths, steep cliffs, and deeper gorges. You’ll also begin to notice Tibetan-style prayer flags and mani walls along the way.
Highlight: First real taste of Himalayan culture and rugged terrain.
We gradually climb through forests, and the air starts to feel cooler and fresher. By the time we reach Namrung, the mountains begin to open up around you.
Highlight: First glimpses of Himalayan peaks.
Today is shorter but really rewarding. As we walk, you’ll get your first clear view of Mount Manaslu—and it’s unforgettable.
Highlight: Standing in Lho village with Manaslu towering above you.
This is one of the most beautiful days. The trail opens into wide valleys with yaks grazing and mountains all around. Sama Gaon is a stunning village with strong Tibetan roots.
Highlight: Big open landscapes and authentic Himalayan village life.
We stay here one more day to let our body adjust to the altitude. We will take a short hike to Birendra Lake or even toward Manaslu Base Camp if you’re feeling strong.
Highlight: Exploring Birendra Lake at your own pace with incredible mountain views.
The landscape becomes more rugged and open. It’s a shorter day, but you’ll feel the altitude a bit more as we get closer to the Tibetan border.
Highlight: Quiet alpine scenery and a real sense of remoteness.
A steady climb brings us into high-altitude terrain of Manaslu region. This is more of a preparation day before crossing the Larkey-La pass.
Highlight: You will feel like you’re deep in the high Himalayas.
This is the toughest and the most rewarding day of the trek. We start early, cross the stunning Larkya La Pass, and then descend down to Bimthang.
Highlight: Reaching the top of the pass surrounded by Himalayan Peaks—an unforgettable moment.
After the high mountains, we descend through alpine forests down to subtropical landscapes. The air feels thicker and warmer again.
Highlight: Dramatic change from alpine to lush forest in a single day.
From today our trek comes to an end. We will leave the trail and take a scenic drive along the Marsyangdi valley and Trishuli River towards Kathmandu.
Highlight: Scenic drive back through varied landscapes of Mid-Hilly region.
We bid reluctant farewell and hope to see you in near future for another adventure together. Have a safe flight!
